Neige et Soleil offers an enriched and original way to discover the mountains, and the Haute-Maurienne in particular.
Our mountain territory is like no other, and our ambition is that your stay will be marked by the richness of this land, a formidable tool for helping your students grow.
The stay is divided into two phases:
1st stage: immersion and discovery of a territory through encounters.
Students will meet men and women who will introduce them to the Haute-Maurienne valley.
During these encounters, they will observe, listen, experiment and learn new things about this mountain region.
They'll take notes and scribble drawings as they go along...
2nd phase: feedback and creation
- First writing workshop, led by a local writer, artist and author.
Students will go back over their notes and drawings, and share their feelings and what they've discovered and retained. They'll use their imaginations to create their own stories of the Haute-Maurienne.
How to write a short story, construct a narrative outline, work on the lexical field.
The structure of the story will take shape, and each group will end the session by sharing the content of the emerging story with the others.
- The second writing session is devoted to the final drafting of the short stories.
A few days later, the book will arrive at the school. Each pupil will receive a book containing all the short stories and photos taken during the stay.
