Malaka is characterised by the voices of 2 sisters. Two very distinct voices, each with their own unique voice, each with their own way of expressing life in the most natural way, accompanied by their own pared-down style of playing. An invitation to appreciate the simplicity of a music that carries messages on the border between folk and soul. With the Malaka sisters, the music takes on a new dimension, where the voices merge to create a spellbinding musical experience, a new land on which to venture.
