The Royal Monastery of Brou is brimming with female figures. But who are these saints and martyrs? Why did they influence the life of Marguerite d'Autriche, to the point of occupying a major place in the stained glass windows and sculptures of the church choir, as close as possible to the dead? Discover the exceptional destinies of Mary Magdalene, Margaret of Antioch and the Virgin Mary during this captivating visit.
In 2025, the tour of the church and museum will focus more generally on exceptional women in art and politics in the 16th century.
