Stage 2: Chalet du Perron - Chalet d'la Croë: 7.6km, 463 m D+. Accommodation at Chalet d'la Croë

Stage 3: Chalet d'la Croë - Entraigues: 10.1km, 289 m D+.

Guidebook with maps/step-by-step

1/ From Entraigues, cross the Arvette stream then climb up the right bank of the stream towards Basse du Gerbier. Follow the track until you reach the mountain pastures at Pré Parroux. After crossing a few fences, which you will close carefully, you will arrive at the Chalet du Perron.
2/ From Chalet du Perron, head towards Basse du Gerbier. Once you reach the pass, fork left onto the ridge and follow it as far as the Basse du Gerbier. Then turn right to admire the Aiguilles at Sous la Tête de Chat post. Retrace your steps back to the Basse de Gerbier, then start the descent on the right until La Motte. Cross a bridge and then the Montplat stream. Then turn right towards the Chalet d'la Croë.
3/ From the Chalet d'la Croë, take the track that joins the Relais car park, then take the path that cuts through the hairpin bends in the road as far as Montrond. From there, take a path through the forest to Belleville, then a short stretch of road. At Belleville, turn left up to Essart and return to Entraigues via the Fréchette forest.
