Treffort, a picturesque village
Treffort
Treffort is a wonderful village. A few steps in the narrow streets and you feel the rustle of history. The houses have something to tell you, the old stones emerge from anonymity to redesign the ramparts. You're sure to want to laze under the age-old lime tree that stretches its branches across the Bresse plain; you'll be curious to share a glimpse of history at the château (short welcome time on the forecourt); you'll be seduced by the grassy paths running behind the typical houses, by the gardens that can be glimpsed from the top of a wall. Let yourself be guided through a village where heritage nestles in a bucolic setting. Reservations required.
In partnership with the association "Les amis de Cuisiat et du musée du Revermont".
Why not spend the day in Treffort? You can stop for lunch on the castle terraces (snack bar) or take a picnic lunch in the countryside. Access to the château tour in the afternoon: preferential rate on presentation of your "village tour" ticket, €6 per adult instead of €9.
