The Tréchauffé viewpoint is a Chablais UNESCO Global Geopark Key Site. On site you can learn about Evian mineral water, the Rhone glacier and Geneva lake (lac Léman). The Tréchauffé Alpage tells of the agricultural production during the summer season. Here, everything has been thought through for the cattle and their herdsmen.
TipsOn returning to the car park there is a path leading down to the goat farm "Le Chamois". In summertime, the farmers invite you to visit the alpage and taste their products.
You can also take the footpath opposite the car park that leads up the hill. This climbs out of the alpage before entering the forest. You will first reach the Pointe de Sangeon (altitude 1 445 m), then the Pointe de Tréchauffé (altitude 1 627 m).
