Isère ()
The 112th edition of the Tour de France will take place from July 05 to 27, 2025, and this year will be entirely within France.
On this mountain stage, the cyclists will set off from Vif, near Grenoble, to climb one of the most famous passes in the Alps, the Glandon. Just an hour after the start, competitors will enter Oisans via the Romanche valley, passing through Gavet, Rioupéroux, Livet, then Allemond and Rivier d'Allemond, before setting off to tackle the Col du Glandon.
The contenders for the yellow jersey will battle it out on what is billed as the toughest of the mountain stages.
The 171 km race promises to be a great spectacle:
- ascent of the Col du Glandon, 21.7 km at 5.1% gradient
- ascent of the Col du Glandon, 19.2 km at 7.9% gradient
- ascent of the Col de la Loze, 26.2 km at 6.5% gradient
With a total of 5,500 metres of ascent, this stage will be merciless on the calves!
The commune of Allemond will be joining in the festivities with entertainment for all.
Please note that the detailed program and timetable for the caravan and cyclists will be announced in the coming weeks... Please be patient!
