Télécabine de Plan-Joran (Lognan - Les Grands-Montets)

Description

In summer, from the village of Argentière, the Plan Joran gondola at 2150m altitude is the starting point for hiking trails that take you to the foot of the Argentière Glacier.

In winter, it's the gateway to the famous Grands Montets ski area! No pedestrians allowed in winter!

Ouverture

The gondola lift is closed for works in summer 2024.
Access authorised only for mountaineers with hut reservations (Argentière and Lognan).
From 22/06 to 31/08
Boarding times for mountaineers (excluding cabin journey time) :
Every day except Sunday, 7.30am to 8.20am; 1.30pm to 2.20pm; 5pm to 5.50pm

Open for skiing :
From 22/11 to 05/12/2024, every day.
Partial opening depending on snow conditions.

From 06/12/2024 to 07/02/2025, every day.

From 08/02 to 14/03/2025, open every day.

From 15/03 to 04/05/2025, every day.

Tarifs

Free entry for children < 5 years.
Group rate available for > 20 people.

In winter : Access to the ski area with Plan Joran cable car. No acces for pedestrians
Argentière -Lognan and Lognan-Les Grands Montets cable cars are closed.

This cable car is included in the skipasses: Chamonix le Pass and the Mont Blanc Unlimited Pass.
