Sled dog farm baptism and secrets of winter and snow

Description

A day exploring the Bauges massif with sled dogs.

9:30 am: Welcome at the sled dog farm in Aillons-Margériaz 1400.
Introduction to the instructors and separation of the class into two groups.

Group 1: Sled dogs
Approach, set up of the dog team and departure for the first baptisms.
Meanwhile, the other children can go tobogganing independently with their teachers. Sledging track on the farm and equipment provided.

Group 2: Snowshoe hikes
Set off into the forest, away from the tracks and the noise, along a trail and then a little way out to explore and understand the landscape: remarkable geology, possible discovery with ARVA or igloo building, animal tracks. You can choose the theme of your outing.

12:00 p.m.: Packed picnic in a heated room (reservation required) 1 € / person

2pm: Reversal of groups.

4:00 pm: Gathering of all children, snack and departure.

- The price for the sled dog activity is 24 € / child for children from CP to CE2 and 27 € / child for Cycle 3.
- 3 free accompanying adults per class
- Supervision for the hike by 1 or more mountain leaders. Quote on request for hiking.
