Nestled in the Giffre valley at an altitude of 700m, the village of Samoens offers an exceptional setting for your stay in the Alps. Mountains, lakes, rivers and waterfalls make it the ideal setting for your business trips and group vacations in Haute-Savoie.

Samoens is a 4-season destination, and its open-air playground offers a multitude of sports and activities all year round, including hiking, trail riding, cycling, paragliding and farm visits. Spring is perfect for water sports like rafting and canyoning. In summer, take advantage of Lac aux Dames and its leisure center for fishing, golf and swimming. In autumn, discover a totally different landscape and mild temperatures, ideal for discovering the cultural and architectural heritage, doing a little via ferrata or diving into the heart of the mountain with a speleologist. In winter, the village of Samoens becomes a ski resort, with direct access to the Grand Massif ski area and its 260 km of pistes. The Giffre mountains also offer a magnificent Nordic area for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and tobogganing. Samoens also boasts 1,000 years of history, with its old market hall, church, château (what's left of it), 600-year-old lime tree and stonemasons.
