School outing: Biodiversity, a little-known treasure in danger [near school].
Haute-Savoie ()
1. At the start of the trail, observe (tracks, droppings) and listen (songs) to living things. Followed by "insect hunting" and "botanical initiation" workshops to discover small flora and fauna.
2. Study the species discovered: how are these living beings linked together? Discover the principles of coevolution/collaboration/predation/parasitism, flower-insect links and insect-bird links.
3. How do we depend on other species? How do our activities threaten biodiversity? A "landscape reading" workshop to show the impact of humans, and a debate between students on the links between humans and Nature, our individual responsibility and the solutions we can bring to reduce this threat.
The outing is designed to be local, without buses, and based on direct observation of the environment by the children themselves.
All year round, daily.
Subject to favorable weather. On demand.
Fee: 150 €.
