Alexis was a forestry technician before becoming a nature educator and leader, and then a mountain leader.
He specializes in children's and young people's activities, and adapts to all audiences.
He offers a wide range of outdoor activities: Nature amazement, Discovering flora and fauna, Tales and cabins, DIY and nature resourcefulness, Great games, Escape-game, Map reading and orientation, Landscape reading, Snowshoe outings, Igloo building and Polar Village, Participatory science, Climate, bioindicators and air quality workshops, Discovering mountain risks, Outing preparation...
Alexis' activities are aimed at schools, young people, families and companies, and are tailored to your needs.
In partnership with the Les Modestes association, he also offers inclusive mountain outings for people with reduced mobility, thanks to a wonderful tool: the joëlette. The joëlette is a single-wheeled wheelchair on which a passenger is seated, mobile thanks to the strength of several pilots in the group.
Nature, and the mountains in particular, are witness to global warming, and my playground and that of my audiences is particularly vulnerable. Temperatures are rising 2.5 times faster in the Alps than elsewhere in France. With 31% of French greenhouse gas emissions, transport is the main source of emissions.
To keep global warming below 1.5°C by 2050, we need to divide our CO2 emissions by 6.
In other words, from 12TB CO2 eq to 2TB.
An electric bike produces 17 times fewer greenhouse gases than a car, which is 17 times better for everyone and for global warming.
It also means less time in town, fewer accidents and, above all, it's good for your health, because it's a gentle form of physical activity.
Since 2022, I've been a Cyclo-entrepreneur. I try to use soft mobility as much as possible (Vttae, Vttae + trailer, VTTAE + public transport) on my reconnaissance rides and sometimes to join you on my outings.
Also, whenever I have the opportunity to organize a snack or a meal, I give preference to local, seasonal products and/or products from an agriculture that respects the environment and the producers, and with as little packaging as possible.
In keeping with the spirit of "Sauvageons" and my pedagogical intentions, I'm throwing down the gauntlet of healthy, zero-waste picnics.
As a reminder, when we go out into nature, it goes without saying that we should bring back all our garbage in our bags, so as not to leave our footprints.
It's a good idea to take one or more garbage bags with you.
All year round.
