Salvagny Inn/Gite

Description

Just 800 metres from the village. In winter, free shuttle buses take you to Samoëns from just outside the gite. In summer, nearby activities include mountain-biking, rafting and via ferrata.
In winter, you can reach the Grand Massif ski area by the shuttle bus which stops outside the gite. You can ski back via the Cascades slope.
In summer, you can walk to the Rouget waterfall and the Fer-à-Cheval corrie, or explore as far as the mountain refuges of Sales, Anterne, Les Fonds, etc., or hike the Fiz loop. Popular departure or stopover point on various hiking itineraries, including the nearby GR5, GR96 and other long-distance trails.
