Due to works at the Nid d'Aigle station, overnight stays are only possible from Friday to Sunday and by reservation only.
The refuge is open for lunch every day.


Facing the Pointe Percée, the highest point in the Aravis massif, and dominated by the Aiguilles du Goûter (3,863m) and Bionnassay (4,052m), our terrace is an ideal place for contemplation. The impressive Bionnassay glacier is just a stone's throw away: early risers are likely to come across an ibex on its moraine.

Climbers returning late from the roof of Europe are always welcome: they can even reward themselves with a fondue!

The dormitories are equipped with duvets and pillows, so all you need is a personal sheet.

Sanitary facilities are available inside and outside the refuge. There are no showers.

For those who wish to cook for themselves, we can provide a non-sack room: remember to bring your own cooking equipment. Our cook can also prepare pasta, omelettes and cold meats for you throughout the day.

The refuge of the Eagle’s Nest is referenced by the FFCAM in the guide "Refuges en famille". Activities to do around the refuge: Fauna and flora, high environment mountain, incredible views of glaciers, Mont Blanc tramway, meeting with mountaineers on their way to Mont Blanc…

Food and refreshments

The refuge offers lunch meals for walkers and half board for those who wish to enjoy the tranquility of a night in the mountains.

Free entry for children < 8 years.
Group rate available for > 9 people.

Discount for children under 8 years old.
We accept all types of payment: cash, cheques and CB but we advise you to always have two payment solutions in case of technical problem.
