A "solid" refuge on a large flat, near two lakes, but in a high mountain site with nearby glaciers, and facing the long border ridge of the Levanna.
At an altitude of 2760m, in the wild setting of the Vanoise, the Carro refuge welcomes you, nestled between white lake and black lake, facing the glacial massif of Albaron.
The guards welcome you for family hikes or climbs facing Gran Paradiso.

Unmanned refuge: Winter room open (18 places) unless otherwise indicated (see the website http://refugeducarro.ffcam.fr/reservation).
