Description

Transform yourself for a day into a space engineer, discover how our astronauts travel in space and where they go, create your own water rocket and get it off the ground. Then discover Newton's laws in the heart of the Bauges forest, in the shadow of nature's protector giants, in the SUSPENDED nets of the Pays Suspendu des Géants (activity without harness, in complete safety)...

One class in the morning creating a micro-water rocket, the other in the Pays Suspendu des Géants, and vice-versa in the afternoon.

Times: 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Water rocket

9:30 am: Welcome at the Aillons-Margériaz 1000 visitor center. Presentation of speakers and separation into several groups.

10 a.m.: Half class: Science workshop (Discovery of the basic principles of aerospace: history, space travel...) Creation of a water rocket per child: principle of air-water propulsion, rocket construction, safety measures and launch,

12pm: Packed lunch

1 p.m.: Reversal of groups

3:30pm: Packed lunch and debriefing

4pm: Departure

Suspended land of the giants

9:30am: Welcome at the Aillons-Margériaz 1000 welcome center. Presentation of speakers and separation into 2 groups.

10 a.m.: Half a class: Take your class to discover the Bauges forest, in this natural aerial park with 7,000 m2 of play areas: nets suspended in the trees, interactive courses, slides, huts and panoramic platforms, in the shadow of Nature's protective giants. Children can test the laws of gravity as they wander, testing their balance and developing their motor skills.

12pm: Packed lunch

1pm: Groups reverse

3:30pm: Packed lunch and debriefing

4pm: Departure
