Sustainable tourism
Charter 21 is AccorHotels' internal system for managing hotel sustainability performance. It enables hotels to make progress towards achieving the objectives of the Planet 21 programme. It recommends 65 actions to be implemented by hotels to effectively reduce their impact on the environment and, since 2011, also includes social responsibility initiatives such as staff training on sustainable development or the use of eco-labelled products.
