The Canelli-Suchet family welcomes you to the ‘Domaine du Château La Tour de Marignan’ and looks forward to sharing their passion for wine with you while you taste some exceptional vintages.
The 11th century vaulted cellar is a beautiful place in which to discover and taste wines. The owners will explain all about the vineyard, illustrated by their vines, which are located just a few metres away. Your visit will end with some wine tasting: The lively ‘Le Marignan’, the oak-aged ‘Le Marignan’, ‘Le Rubis de Boisy’, the traditional ‘La Méthode’, ‘La Chèvre’, etc...
The Domaine has grown its vines organically under the Ecocert accreditation for more than 20 years.
White grape variety (Chasselas) and red grape variety (Pinot noir and Mondeuse).
Bottled at the Château.
Sold direct.
The Domaine is located on the banks of Lake Geneva. The fortified house looks out over the vineyard, was originally monastic. It was sold during the Reformation, when Chablais was occupied by Swiss Calvinists. Production has now been organic since 1993. In this Marignan vineyard, the Chasselas grape reigns supreme!
A whole range of tastes awaits you - from the sophistication of the white wines to the complexity of the barrel-aged reds. A speciality should also be mentioned: ‘La Chêvre’ - bottles of this heavenly Chablais wine are available here.
