Permanent exhibition: "Agriculture and landscapes, the great changes".
The Chamonix valley is marked by a nature that men, over the centuries, have invested and shaped. From the first shepherds to today's farmers, the farmer remains the historical witness of the evolution of the landscapes and the mutations of the territory: natural spaces, architecture and urbanism, traffic and transport.
Through a richly illustrated exhibition, the visitor will find the keys to discover the fragile balance between man and his environment.
Temporary exhibition: "What we know about... The House of Lieutenant and Joseph Marie Devillaz".
In the heart of the Hameau du Mont, one of the oldest houses in the valley still hides many questions about its life and its transformations over the centuries. This exhibition proposes to take stock of what we know today.
