L'hôtel Cabuchet, côté rue, côté cour
Ain ()

The Hôtel Cabuchet is an elegant mansion built in the 1780s on rue Bourgmayer in Bourg-en-Bresse by one of Bresse's most important noble families: the Chossat family. Over the course of its history, this beautiful residence has been inhabited by a number of notable personalities: the young Gustave Doré, who became famous for his art of drawing and painting, Albert Lagrange, founder of the Ecole Biblique de France in Jerusalem, and the sculptor Emilien Cabuchet, for whom it is named. Open the great history book of this house and appreciate the architecture of the place with its current owners: the elegant ashlar façade and its noble floor as well as the courtyard side. A unique opportunity to discover Burgundy's heritage.
