The Bauges and donkeys in tales and legends

Description

9:30am: Welcome at the Montagny parking lot in ARITH. Class split into 2 groups. Each group will do both activities.

The first group with the donkey farmer, learning about donkeys and how to drive them:
- the history of working with donkeys
- donkey language, with ears!
- safety instructions
- preparation and packing of the donkey: brushing, use of saddlebags... Each child takes a turn driving the donkey.

The second group leaves with a mountain leader to discover the landscape, the flora and fauna, the forest, the habitat, the bauju natural environment, traces and signs of life...

12pm: Tyrolean picnic lunch around a (small) mountain lake. At the end of the meal, we'll be lulled to sleep by tales and legends.

1:30 pm: Reversal of groups

3pm: Packed lunch with local stories. Return to the bus.

3:45pm: Debriefing and departure.
