New this year is that we are going organic in the garden restaurant! To keep in line with our growing ethos of connecting directly with nature and being good to the planet, we will be serving local and organic food and drinks in the garden this summer.

Mid-day Lunch 12.00 – 14.30: A moment of pure pleasure
For those looking for a real moment of pleasure together, take time out from all the mountain activity and enjoy one of our more elaborate meals: tasty starters, original salads or speciality dishes such as Pierrade or Raclette (please pre-order) followed by a choice of delicious desserts, not to mention our selection of local beers and quality wines. Combined with sun loungers, hammock and table tennis, lunchtimes often prolong themselves into lazy and relaxing afternoons.
For those that are on the move, It may be a light lunch with classic mountain salads or something with an original twist to prepare you for the walk to Lauvitel Lake. Or it may be something more substantial like a nourishing homemade burger with French fries to recuperate on your way down.

Traditionally a popular stop off on the way up or way down from Lauvitel Lake, we are also worth a special visit if you are in the Oisans valleys; a short detour from the new “voie vert” cycle route; or a walk from Venosc that is less demanding but equally inspiring and beautiful. We serve speciality cold beer, good coffee, fresh tea, artisanal ice-cream and not forgetting a selection of extremely good homemade cakes. Whilst we try to make sure we have an ample supply of our famous blueberry tarts we also do great carrot cake, amazing blueberry cheesecake and the best chocolate brownie. Definitely worth a detour!
Our Gardens: Relax and Enjoy
Guests often call our garden restaurant “a little corner of paradise”, with its array of colourful flowers, the soft sounds of running water from the garden fountain and the cool shade from our mature lime trees, all surrounded by magnificent mountain scenery. There is also enough space for the children to enjoy, a quiet reading area, a stone labyrinth and a relaxing game of table tennis for those who prefer more action.
Evening Restaurant: Hassle free evening meal 19.30pm set menu - advisable to reserve in advance
You want to enjoy an evening meal with friends and family without doing all the catering, but don’t really want the hassle of everyone choosing something different from a menu. Lauvitel Lodge Evening Restaurant is an exquisite culinary experience offering a speciality menu to all our clients, both in-house residents and additional visiting guests. By focusing on creating one amazing meal, something different every evening, our chef is able to offer you an exceptional dining experience from beginning to end. Great care is taken to create delicious food with well-balanced flavour that is attractive to the eye.
You may (join the large communal tables or) request an individual table, according to your personal preference. We are also very happy to cater for vegetarians and ask for advanced notice, so that you get equal care and attention. 25 € per person, including 3 course meal and coffee.
