ITINERARY:
Glacial lake from the Lavey refuge. From the refuge, the path leaves the bottom of the valley and rises very quickly on the east-facing slope. It passes close to the Entre Pierroux glacier, then turns south to reach the Lac des Bêches, which dominates the valley.

From the lake, there's a clear view of the Tête des Fétoules, les Rouies and l'Olan.
NOTES:
At the start of the season, there may still be snow on the upper part of the trail.
The refuge is guarded from mid-June to mid-September.
