Description
Whitewater enthusiasts can enjoy a kayak trip or a swim in the river Saône. Let yourself be tempted by remarkable châteaux or a guinguette on the banks of the Saône. Trévoux, the capital of the Principality of Dombes, is a historic town to discover.
The path was completely renovated in 2023 and has a comfortable surface of stabilized sand, or sometimes bitumen on certain sections.

Interdis : Il est possible de voyager avec un animal transporté dans un aménagement de bagages. Mais s'il est tentant d'envisager faire courir son chien près du vélo, ce ne sera pas forcément possible.

Passages délicats : Very narrow passage on the south side of Fareins on the way to Beauregard (widening work planned for winter 2023/2024 by the Communauté de communes Dombes Saône Vallée).
Take care when crossing the D904 near the center of Jassans-Riottier. A signpost indicating a temporary deviation from the Voie Bleue is present to show the way through the commune. Signage indicating the link with the center of Villefranche sur Saône is currently being installed.
