Thick stone walls, high vaulted ceilings and traces of former alcoves, wooden floors and patches of colour - this is where chef Anthony Baud creates a cuisine of heart and good produce.
A place for sharing, where conviviality is an artist in residence, La Quintessence draws its inspiration from Lyon's culinary history and the mothers who started it all, reinterpreting bourgeois traditions with freshness and modernity.

Closed exceptionally on January 1st, Easter Monday, Whit Monday, May 1st, August 15th and December 25th.
