First floor: large living room (lounge/dining room with table and chairs, sofas, armchairs, coffee table, open fireplace with wood-burning stove, library, tourist brochures, children's games, etc.), separate, fully-equipped kitchen (sink, hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, coffeemakers, crockery, utensils and pots and pans, etc.).
1st floor: 3 double bedrooms with private bathroom and toilet.
Cassiopée room (9 m2), 1 double bed (140x190 cm). En-suite shower room and WC (large shower with wall, washbasin and WC). Central heating and fixed electric radiator with blower in shower room. Closet with hanging space and shelving.
Grande Ourse bedroom (12 m2), 1 double bed (160x200 cm) and Petite Ourse bedroom (10 m2), 1 double bed (140x190 cm). Bathroom and toilet shared by the 2 bedrooms (Grande Ourse and Petite Ourse) with shower cubicle (hydrojets) and vanity unit.
Please note that the Grande Ourse and Petite Ourse rooms are rented together (family suite). Storage space in each bedroom - closet and wall cupboards.
Desk and chair in all three bedrooms. Hairdryer, liquid soap and towels included.
2nd and top floor: Orion room (triple room: 1 double bed 140x190 cm and 1 single bed 90x190 cm), alcove with 1 double bed 140x190 cm and dormitory with 4 single beds 90x190 cm.
WIFI (free, secure connection).
Wood pellet central heating with radiators (bedrooms and bathrooms).
Courtyard and terrace with garden furniture. Private parking.
Possibility of renting the gîte for 15 people on a self-catering basis, or as a bed & breakfast with breakfast included. The table d'hôtes (by reservation) is prepared by Catherine, a trained cook and pastry chef, using delicious local and organic produce. Your host can also cater for special diets (gluten-free, lactose-free, vegetarian, vegan, etc.).
Catherine's cuisine focuses on regional dishes (green lentil salad from Le Puy, numerous vegetables from the kitchen garden, etc.) as well as world cuisine.
Catherine loves cooking and nature (outings on the theme of flora and fauna are available on request), and can also offer cooking workshops or an introduction to bobbin lace.
Come and recharge your batteries, go hiking, pick mushrooms and berries, fish in the nearby river, visit the local heritage (Abbaye de la Chaise-Dieu, Basilique St-Julien in Brioude, Cathédrale Notre-Dame in Le Puy-en-Velay, etc.), ...
Shops, services and entertainment at La Chaise-Dieu or Allègre (9 km).
