La Maison Blanche vacation center

Description

Our chalet is nestled in the heart of the village. Ideal for weekend getaways, weddings, cousins' get-togethers or seminars, we offer room and bedroom rentals, from one night with breakfast to full board. We even offer a special welcome for cyclists and hikers. With 45 years' experience of hosting vacation camps and discovery classes, it's the ideal place for mountain sports enthusiasts, summer and winter alike.

The chalet has 4 levels, each with :
- 3 activity rooms
- 1 ski room
- 1 dining room
- 1 infirmary
- 21 bedrooms with sanitary facilities (in the room or on the landing) and balconies (10 rooms)
All the services you need are on site: shops, tourist office, restaurants, ESF, tennis courts, soccer field, basketball court, volleyball court, playground, riding school, cinema.

Leisure activities:
In winter, we offer school groups and holidaymakers the chance to discover the mountain environment through educational workshops led by our activity leaders: landscape reading, fauna, flora, heritage and agriculture, as well as visits to the Beaufort des Arves Cooperative and a goat farm. You can also take part in free or professionally supervised sporting activities, such as downhill skiing, biathlon, snowshoe trekking and dog sledding.

In summer, we offer the same educational workshops as well as professionally supervised sports activities: archery, horseback riding, cani-rando, rock climbing, via ferrata, canyoning and hiking (with or without overnight stays in bivouacs or refuges) and swimming at the Albiez lake.

Sustainable tourism

The restaurant is a member of the Mon Restau Responsable® initiative proposed by the Nicolas Hulot Foundation and the Réseau des restau'co.
Mon Restau Responsable® is a participatory guarantee dedicated to collective catering. It guarantees community restaurants that are committed to healthier, high-quality, environmentally-friendly cooking. 4 areas of application are taken into account: guest well-being, responsible eating, eco-actions and social and territorial commitment. This flexible approach is voluntary, based on the gradual evolution of practices. For example, La Maison Blanche cooks mainly with products from local agriculture, and limits and composts its waste.
