House of Mineralogy of the Massif Central

The collection includes around a thousand samples, most of which were discovered by the founder. If you're curious about what lies beneath your feet and want to learn more about the Earth's riches, this is the place for you.

Closed Saturday and Sunday.

* Guided tours: €8 adults, €6 students, free for children under 8 (minimum duration 1h30) by appointment.
* Field outings: Half-day: introduction to micro-mineralogy or guided prospecting: Adults 20€, under 18s 15€. Registration required on Wednesdays or Thursdays. (Minimum 3 people, maximum 10).
For groups, call the Maison de la Minéralogie for registration and organization, full day possible.
*Geology outing: Local geology, field reading: €12 adults, €8 students (not recommended for under-10s), duration 2h minimum. By appointment only.
