This outing takes visitors through a village museum to discover the trades of yesteryear through tools, housing...
9:30 am / 10 am: Children welcome at the Village-Musée de la Combe de Savoie in Grésy-Sur-Isère (heated room). Presentation of the Ecomuseum and the Combe de Savoie. Presentation of the themes and activities to be developed during the visit.
10h-12h / 13h30-15h30 :
- Guided and animated visit on selected themes: trades of yesteryear (saddler, galochier, wheelwright, blacksmith...), the evolution of housing over the centuries, working with wool, from grain to bread, mills and fruit farms, beekeeping, the evolution of working with the land, from grapes to wine, food preservation.
- Activities during the day:
Going to school: an hour of writing with ink and pen as in the old days.
Laundry of yesteryear: demonstration of how a washing machine works, with all the children rolling up their sleeves to wash clothes as they did in the old wash-house.
The DVD can be shown to explain the history of Savoy in simple terms.
12pm: Packed lunch outdoors or in a heated room.
3:30pm: Complimentary snack (fruit juice and cake).
4pm: Departure.
From 21/03 to 20/06.
