The Pays du Léman (Northern Alps) is made up of flavors, scents and original encounters, all wrapped up in a unique landscape: the shores of Lake Geneva and the mountains of the Chablais, on the border with Switzerland.
In a small, friendly group, accompanied by a mountain guide who specializes in Chablais and is a native of the region, you'll discover this wild and attractive mountain at your own pace.
From the history of Evian water to mountain agriculture and the region's unique flora and fauna, the program is rich!
Accommodation in a 3-star hotel in Bellevaux, with swimming pool and sauna, and a reputation for fine dining!
Day 01: Sunday
Welcome from 4:00 pm at the hotel.
After settling into your room, you can relax in the lounges until your tour leader presents the tour at around 7:00 pm.
Day 02: Monday - The Country
Mont Forchat (1539 m). Departing from the Col du Feu, we cross a number of mountain pastures before climbing a beautiful slope to one of Thonon's closest peaks, offering an incredible 360° panorama. Unique view of Lake Geneva.
Ascent: + 400 m Time: 4 h 00
Day 03: Tuesday - La Faune
Roc d'Enfer Natura 2000 reserve and Lac de Pététoz. Leaving La Chèvrerie, we climb towards the Col de Foron, skirting the Roc d'Enfer. Along the way we reach a wildlife observation point, where we can see chamois, marmots and the occasional mouflon.
We then descend to Lac de Pététoz, in its green setting, and the mountain pastures before reaching the goat farm.

Day 04: Wednesday - Alpine pastures and cheeses
La pointe de Miribel (1581m). Leaving La Glappaz, we make our way through the first alpine pastures to Le Replan, a pretty mountain hamlet, before continuing on to the summit, offering a magnificent balcony between Mont Blanc and Lake Geneva. Here we learn about the history of the Frahans before descending to Ajon. History of the mountain pasture and cheese-making.

Day 05: Thursday - Geology and local history
La Pointe de Tré le Saix (1657m). Our starting point is the beautiful Lac de Vallon and its fascinating geological history. We then climb to the hamlet of Les Nants before heading for the high-altitude hamlet of Tré-le Saix, where we have lunch. Possibility of summiting above. Then back to the Lac de Vallon for the end of the story.

Day 06: Friday
Les Rochers de Nifflon (1783 m). In the heart of the Chablais massif, on the ridge separating the Danses (the name given to the rivers in the Chablais region), this hike reveals a rich and varied flora in a wild area. It's also a lovely belvedere overlooking the other peaks of the massif and Lake Geneva. Your guide will introduce you to the pastoral heritage of the adorable alpine village of Nifflon d'en Haut, grouped around its chapel.

This program is given as an indication only, and the guide reserves the right to change the order and choice of hikes according to the number of participants and weather conditions.
RELAXATION AFTER THE HIKE
Free access to the hotel's swimming pool and sauna:
When you return from your hike, you can relax in the heated outdoor swimming pool. You also have access to the hotel's other facilities: infrared sauna, gym, tennis court, pétanque court, billiards and table soccer.
