CURIOSITES:
Le Moulin de Saint-Germain : à découvrir à l’entrée du village. Reconstruit par les habitants de Saint-Germain de 1987 à 1989, le moulin permet de découvrir les mécanismes de meunerie, le four à pain et un mini musée sur la vie des habitants d’autrefois. Il ouvre régulièrement ses portes au public pour des visites et pour ses fournées de pain de mai à septembre (dates et horaires sur le site internet : www.seez.fr)
L’Hospice du Petit Saint-Bernard : symbole d’hospitalité pour tous les passants menacés par les intempéries. Aujourd’hui l’Hospice est devenu un point d’information et un gîte restaurant.
La colonne Joux : située à côté de l’Hospice, la colonne Joux est un monolithe où trône la statue de Saint-Bernard de Menthon, patron des alpinistes.

DEPARTURE: At the parking lot in the village of Saint-Germain
How to get to Saint Germain:
- On foot: via the Countess Cécile circuit duration: 1 hour 15 minutes from the Pont du Reclus car park
- By car: from Séez, follow the direction of La Rosière - Col du Petit Saint-Bernard, 2 km from Villard-Dessus take the road on the left located between the Hôtel le Relais Des Villards and the Auberge du Val Joli en direction of Saint Germain.
From the car park in the hamlet of Saint-Germain, go up the street next to the Chapel and take the Voie Romaine on the left, let yourself be guided by the markings through the mountain pastures.
In the hamlet of Les Chavonnes, follow the direction of Hospice du Petit Saint-Bernard.
After crossing Le Pontet, take the path on the left under the national road, towards the Hospice du Petit Saint-Bernard.
Arrive at the Col, follow the road and pass in front of the Hospice du Petit Saint-Bernard
and the Joux column. To go to the border, take the path
discovered on the plateau of the Hospice.
For the descent, follow the same route as for the ascent.
