Armed with an interactive tablet and everything else a budding naturalist needs, they'll hike along a forest trail in search of clues to the presence of animals, listening for the calls of various birds and stopping to study an educational pond. At the Hermitage Museum, they'll learn to use a binocular magnifying glass to observe the ground microfauna.
