GAEC Domaine Meunier
Sermérieu
Love, patience and respect for nature are values that are present at every stage of the long process of viticulture.
The Isère Balmes Dauphinoises Protected Geographical Indication vines are planted on shallow, stony soils. The soil is worked without weedkillers, allowing it to breathe freely.
The plateaux on which the vines are planted give them sunny exposure all day long.
The vines are cultivated without insecticides using natural products. Yields are limited to guarantee the best quality.
The grapes are harvested by hand in the traditional way to ensure that they are healthy. No yeast is used in the fermentation process to preserve the authenticity of the terroir. The wines are matured in vats for 12 months before being bottled on the estate. These traditional methods, combined with their know-how, guarantee the quality and character of the terroir.
Maison Meunier is a member of the Vignerons Indépendants group, which guarantees that every stage of their work is carried out on their own estate. They only use grapes from their own vineyards to make their wines.
The Gamay and Pinot from the 2022 vintage were awarded a silver medal at the international competition in Lyon in April 2024.
