Exposition "Animalement Vôtre"

Cuisiat

Description

Using all their senses, they'll discover the animal world in four different islands, and learn more about their mode of locomotion, what covers their body and their diet. A treasure hunt completes the tour. And to find out more, they can take advantage of the Jeunes Pousses room and the life-size garden!

Locomotion" island: how do I get around?
Animals walk, crawl, fly, swim... and can our little visitors do the same? They'll have to follow the footprints on the ground, and imitate the locomotion of rabbits, horses, centipedes and even penguins.

What's on my body" island: what's on my coat?
Bare animals wait impatiently for their skin, carapace, feathers or scales to keep them a little warmer. Children are invited to find and reconstruct their beautiful fur.

What I eat" island: what's my diet?
Herbivore, carnivore, omnivore, our little visitors have to define the diet of the species represented. Then, in more detail, they have to find out who's an insectivore, piscivore or frugivore.

Environment" island: where's home?
Five living environments are presented. Each animal has to be placed in its own environment.

The finale: a treasure hunt!
Once you've explored all four islands, the tour continues with a treasure hunt.
In each island are hidden clues whose shape symbolizes the island visited (a shoe for locomotion, a T-shirt for fur, a plate for food and a house for the environment). Using these clues, children must identify the mystery animal (there are six to discover). The "answer" island lets children check whether the mystery animal they've guessed is the right one. "I fly, I eat fruit, my body is covered in feathers and I live in the jungle, who am I?
