10am: Ain Museum of Resistance and Deportation
A lively, accessible tour of the Second World War in France and the Ain region: guided tour of the exceptional collection of posters, everyday objects, uniforms and testimonies that perpetuate the work of remembrance.

Option 1: Guided tour of the Sylans iceworks
Les glacières de Sylans marketed ice extracted from Lac de Sylans until 1917. Today, the impressive remains have been converted for visitors. Join your guide as he takes you back 140 years to one of the world's largest natural ice production sites, and tells the story of an astonishing industrial heritage.

Option 2: Guided tour of the Cheminot Museum
Join local railway history enthusiasts in Ambérieu-en-Bugey. As you explore the 950 m² of collections on display to the public, you'll relive the history that links the railroads to the town, and be captivated by the volunteers who founded this museum to safeguard the memory of this industrial heritage for future generations.
