Domaine Véronique Antoine
Rignat
Winegrower and harvesting owner of Bugey AOC Cerdon vintage wines with Gamay and Poulsard grapes in ancestral method, selected by the Hachette wine guide 2018, 2019, three stars in the Hachette guide 2022 and a Chardonnay from Bugey. Véronique Antoine also produces a sparkling white wine in ancestral method "Sous les vignes" with the grape variety Jacquére and a red wine "En Beran" matured in jars with the grape variety Mondeuse.
A small herd of Ouessant sheep graze the vines during the winter, thus limiting the growth of grass, while fertilizing and working the soil.
Following a professional reconversion, Véronique created her farm in 2005 with 6 ares of vines. Today her farm has 2 hectares 6 and is located in the village of Rignat on the commune of Bohas-Meyriat-Rignat (Revermont).
