Domaine La Rouge Jouvence
La Baume-de-Transit
For greater resilience, the farm is polycultural: the young couple cultivate 4ha of market garden produce and 18ha of vines. In conversion to organic farming, the estate is in the process of obtaining organic certification by 2024. Fruit and vegetables, as well as eggs from their 150 laying hens, are sold at local markets all year round. Vinification takes place in old stone quarries in St-Restitut, where the temperature is 12°C all year round! The wine is produced with respect for the health of consumers, with transparency on the few oenological practices carried out.
In 2021, the two newcomers vinified their first vintage! That same year, an opportunity presented itself: the purchase of a stone-built Mas provençal, an agricultural farmhouse located between the villages of Bouchet and La-Baume-de-Transit. The estate's wine cellar is housed in a stone outbuilding that was once a pigsty. Inside, you can taste the very first cuvées: a white, a rosé and four red wines. The wines benefit from the different appellations in which the vines flourish.
From 01/01 to 31/12, every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
