Domaine la Fille des Vignes
Piégon
A family heirloom, it was mainly my parents who developed the vineyard and shaped the winery over the years.
To preserve the family heritage, the fruit of a lifetime of hard work and dedication, the three daughters decided to create Tailleux et Filles.
After a few years spent in the Paris region as an agri-food engineer, I returned to the south of France in 2018, to take over the family business in collaboration with my father, who passed on to me his passion for viticulture.
In 2019, we created Domaine La Fille des Vignes to produce quality wines in limited quantities, with an authentic, organic approach, and always in good spirits.
The vineyard
Our 15-hectare vineyard is located in the communes of Piégon, Puyméras, Saint Romain-en-Viennois and Mirabel-aux-Baronnies. The terroirs are sandy, gravelly or clay-limestone, with altitudes ranging from 350 to 450 meters.
At the Domaine, the grape varieties are diverse: Grenache Noir, Syrah, Carignan, Cinsault, Viognier, Roussanne, Marsanne and Clairette.
We manage our vineyards with respect for the vines and the environment, using traditional practices such as shoeing and de-shoeing the vines, mechanical weeding according to lunar cycles and Royat cordon pruning.
We nourish our soil and vines with organic fertilizer and lavender straw compost, a farmer's residue used in our vineyards.
Finally, we treat our vines in a reasoned and organic way.
Each action is thought out on a parcel-by-parcel basis to meet the needs of our vines as precisely as possible.
Wine-making
We have decided to create our organic wine in limited quantities, so as to control every stage of production, from the soil to the bottle.
The grapes are harvested by hand or mechanically, depending on the age of the vines and the wine to be made.
For white and rosé wines, we carry out cold pressing and alcoholic fermentation at low temperature. The wine is aged in stainless steel vats.
For red wines, we de-stem the grapes in their entirety and leave them to infuse naturally, with maceration time determined by tasting. The wine is aged in concrete vats.
The addition of inputs is strictly limited so that the terroir can fully express itself through our wines.
From 01/04 to 30/09/2025.
Closed on Sunday.
Free entry.
