Our tailor-made holiday, designed to help your primary school pupils discover the local ecosystem and raise awareness of environmental protection, offers a variety of activities supervised by mountain professionals. Here's a glimpse of the adventure awaiting your pupils:
- Beekeeping activities with Nadine, a passionate beekeeper:
Discover the world of bees with Nadine. Your students will be immersed in the life of bees, their functions in the hive, their predators, and their crucial role in preserving biodiversity. A honey tasting session and live bee observation will complete this educational experience.
- Storytelling walk: "Les Histoires Secrètes du Peuple Animal" (Secret Stories of the Animal People):
Through 5 ecological tales about the animal people, your students will be encouraged to reflect on the impact of human activities on the animal kingdom and the environment. A fun way to encourage reflection and raise awareness.
- Fauna and Flora slide show:
Explore the wealth of local flora and fauna through a slide show, offering a detailed vision of the natural diversity of our mountain region, where the seasons have a major impact on living beings.
- Hike in search of the marmot:
Set off in search of Javotte, the marmot. A one-day hike supervised by mountain guides, with an outdoor picnic. A fun treasure hunt accompanies the hike, allowing you to discover the mountain environment in a playful way.
- La Rivière m'a dit" hike:
Explore the secrets of aquatic life on a river hike with Eric. With boots on and magnifying glasses in hand, students set off to investigate the riverbed, discovering traces, small animals and wetland flora.
- Woodworking workshop with Pierre :
Supervised by Pierre, a passionate woodworker, your students will have the opportunity to create a wooden animal using scroll saws.
Our 5-day program can be adapted to offer an educational and entertaining experience, combining discovery and environmental awareness. At Centre de Vacances "L'Écho des Montagnes", learning comes to life in the heart of nature.
