The village of Le Monal, a listed historic monument
If you set off on foot from the resort along a forest path, you'll have no difficulty in reaching the classified site of the Village du Monal. This hamlet is made up of mountain chalets that have retained all their 18th and 19th century authenticity. The natural environment of stone and wood is fully reflected in the construction methods. Water is also richly present in the gullies and streams winding between the houses of Village du Monal. A picnic facing the Mont-Pourri glaciers, a visit from a chamois or an eagle? Happiness!
