Along the way, crystals and atypical rocks will soon be in the hands of children and parents alike, for all to marvel at.
Each discovery is accompanied by a short commentary on the birth of the rock found and its journey through geological time.
A day's hike to discover the extraordinary panorama offered by the Aiguilles d'Arves on all the surrounding massifs.
Read about the landscape and its evolution, with the names of the massifs and peaks.
Meet at Place Opinel with your vehicle, to drive to the start of the hike.
Bring your own equipment, hiking boots, picnic and warm clothing for the day.
