Description

Popular cross-country ski race registered in the Challenge Haute-Savoie Nordic. "La Bornandine" is organized by the association "les Longues Spatules", in homage to Colette, Éliane, Mado, Mireille, four young instructors of the Grand-Bornand cross-country ski school, who disappeared accidentally on November 21st 1978. For the third time, "La Bornandine" invites you to participate in a night-time duo race. The course offers an original discovery of the cross-country ski trails of the Bouchet Valley, at night with your headlamp. Friendly atmosphere at the arrival with a meal followed by the prize giving, with many prizes to win (stays, skis, etc.).

On the programme:
"La Bornandine": 15 Km: In pairs from U18 upwards, men's, women's or mixed teams.
"La 5 Bornes": 5 Km: U18 and over
"La 5 Bornes jeune": 5 Km: 2 youngsters U13 / U18
"The Colimareille": 2.5 Km: individual race, children's promotion (born between 2012 and 2014).

Tarifs

Rates :
La Bornandine*:
- 50 € per team including race registration, souvenir pack, refreshments and meal.

La 5 Bornes*:
- 30 € per team of 1 adult and 1 young person,
- 20 € per team of 2 young people,
including race registration, souvenir package, food and refreshments.

La Colimareille*: 8 €.

* All registrations made on race day will be subject to a €10 surcharge.

Requirements:
- Public liability insurance,
- Medical certificate of aptitude to practice cross-country skiing in competition dated less than 12 months (decree N°87473 of July 1st 1987),
- Parental authorization for minors,
- Headlamp for each team member and recommended for "La Colimareille".
