Chamrousse
The climbing is very pleasant, alternating between steep walls with rulers and beautiful slabs with good grip.
The cliff faces due east, warm in the summer sun and sometimes a little cool in the afternoon shade.

Approach to the Croix de Chamrousse site:
- By gondola, park in front of the Chamrousse 1650 - Recoin tourist office. Pay attention to gondola opening times.
From the Croix, head for the Col de La Botte, where the cliff appears on your right. Then join it on a contour via small paths.
- On foot, reach Chamrousse 1750 - Roche Béranger at the Croisette bend.
Park your car and follow the pistes to La Croix, or take the Lac Achard path, the Col de l'Infernet and the Col de la Botte. The second option is more pleasant but takes longer (1h to 1h30 depending on options).
