Compass and carabiner (rope)

Description

From beacon to beacon, the compass and map help you find your way.
From hold to hold, the rope and harness take you to the summit.

9:30 am: Welcome at La Féclaz (in front of Le Carcey). Presentation of the day and the instructors. Creation of 2 groups.

Group 1: Orientation:
- Discovering and reading a map.
- Use of a compass.
- Games and orienteering adapted to the age group.

Group 2: Climbing:
- Introduction to equipment: harness, rope, helmet, carabiner.
- Learn climbing techniques on an initiation rock (-10 m high).

12pm: Packed lunch.

1:30 pm: Reversal of groups.

4pm: Return, snack and debriefing
