Mountains are a privileged environment for tackling climate change in a very concrete way. Warming is much more pronounced there than on the plains, and its impact is more rapid and visible, making this environment a veritable open-air scientific laboratory. Your students can see for themselves the reality of climate change: glaciers are melting, plants are gaining altitude, water resources are scarce, natural hazards are increasing, and so on.
They will understand the need to act to limit this phenomenon and adapt to its impacts.
