Cité de la Musique
Romans-sur-Isère
The 4,000 m² building boasts two concert halls, a 270-seat auditorium and a 300-seat hall for amplified music, soon to be officially certified by the French government (the first certified structure in the département).
This new cultural facility will be a veritable meeting place for different musical genres and interests, bringing together the team from the Scène de Musiques Actuelles amplifiées association - "La Cordonnerie" - and the Conservatoire.
Open to the public, the building is easily accessible and offers a catering service. The resource area allows individuals to consult specific works (CDs, magazines, etc.), and includes a multimedia area with playlists, and a parthothèque for access to sheet music.
The Conservatoire's forty-four teachers can teach their 23 musical and choreographic disciplines in dedicated rooms: drums, percussion, chamber music or orchestra...
Amplified music enthusiasts will benefit from state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, including rehearsal studios and a recording studio.
And, shared with all users, a listening and rear-projection room.
All year round.
