Circuit du Danay

Description

Because of the many signposted paths on the Danay, this route can be extended or shortened to suit you (card strongly recommended).

From the picnic area:
Follow the signposted path to Le Danay. Take the path to the Rotagne parking lot. Continue along the path until you reach a carriage road. Turn right on the carriage road until you find a path on the left towards Le Danay d'en Haut. Reach the summit (orientation table), come down from the summit and head for Sur Frête. At a crossroads near two farms, return to Covagnet. Start out on a footpath, then a carriage road. At the first chalet on your left, take the path down to another chalet. Then turn right to follow a path to the Route du Danay. Follow this road up to a crossroads, where you should follow the signs for the “aire de pique nique” back to the starting point.
