A Place where Authenticity and Tradition are the Trade Marks
Snuggled away in the heart of a well preserved valley in the Aravis mountains between Annecy and Geneva, the Chalets-Hotel de la Croix-Fry marries the charm of days gone by with the comfort of today. Natural wood, sheep skins, wide chimneys, and collections of local popular art... Everything has been carefully thought out to create a refined and warm atmosphere. The history of the chalets-Hotel de la Croix-Fry is a family one. Isabelle Loubet-Guelpa is the 4th generation of ladies who head this chalet hotel. Isabelle shared the management with her mother Marie-Ange Guelpa Veyrat up until the latter’s demise in 2009. Eric Guelpa the elder brother, a talented chef joins his sister and received 3 degrees from the Guide Gault & Millau. In each of his recipes, based on local produce, he is inspired by the tastes of Savoy from days gone by and from his childhood.
