Brasserie des Balcons : Fabrique de bière et Taproom
Zone industrielle
What a marvellous world beer is, a world where the possibilities are infinite, where everyone can explore and develop their tastes, a world in which so many creative talents work!
The Brasserie des Balcons opens its doors to all those who are curious, undecided, intrigued, amateurs, connoisseurs, adventurous... They'll find a warm welcome and a warm place, a taproom with a view of the vats and the brewer at work, tasting advice, teaching aids and, of course, our beers (and more!) to taste on draught or to take home in 33cl, 75cl bottles or kegs!
Six beer recipes developed in the fixed range for a wide range of flavours! But there are also short-lived beers and collab' (brews made in conjunction with other brewers) that allow you to explore together the full range of flavour potential of these four simple-looking ingredients: water, malt (or other unmalted cereals), hops and yeast.
It's the story of a couple, one of whom has been a passionate amateur brewer since 2015: Vincent. The other loves a good story: Manon. In January 2021, the lifeless birth of their daughter, Mathilde, turned their lives upside down. They had to turn this event into something beautiful, a beautiful story! So let's get brewing! Let's brew tastes, let's brew genres, let's brew people, let's brew life*! The Brasserie des Balcons was born. *Just look at this little grain of barley, which is also subject to the immutable cycle of life: it is born, it dies (roasted during malting) and it is reborn during brewing - fermentation is the new life of the grain, giving birth to a drink that is literally alive.
BEER TASTE Taste is an eminently personal sense. We're not designed to 'like' all beers! That's why we've chosen to build the six recipes in our fixed range with a view to offering a sufficiently wide range, as 'gateways' to the vast world of beer.
A real tasting area awaits you at Brasserie des Balcons, with advice and suggestions on how to match our beer recipes to your meals. Would you like to learn more about the beer-making process? You're welcome to join our guided tours on Saturdays! And if you come on another day, you'll find a large glass roof with a view of the brewhouse and teaching aids to help you understand everything.
Sustainable tourismThe brewery's spent grains (brewing residues) are recycled by being processed into aperitif biscuits, or used as animal feed by local producers.
