Belledonne mountain lakes and summits trek, 4 days, nights in refuge

Description

During this 4 days trek in Belledonne we will overnight with half-board, in dorms, in mountain refuges, who will provide noon pick-nicks. Chamrousse will be our starting as well as our arriving point. These 4 days of hiking will be opportunity to discover everyday a new route and enjoy this contrasted mountain still off the crowd. At the feet of sharp impressive peaks, along a string of glaciar lakes, verdant creeks are stretching. With your guide, a bird enthusiast, passionnate by medicinal plants and geology, you will take time to observe mountain wildlife and flora. Magnifiscient landscape over Vercors and Chartreuse will be our daily scenery during pick-nicks. In the evening, after mountain dinner and possible handmade delicacies, we will enjoy starry nights from the cabin terrasse. If the weather is favorable, we will summit the highest point of the range : the Croix de Belledonne, almost reaching 3000m (9800ft).

Host portrait

I grew up in Haute-Savoie in a family where leisure activities were mainly in the mountains. After a few years of wandering around the world, I came back to the Alps. With stories and experiences in my head, anecdotes about birds and wild plants in my pockets and above all the desire to communicate this passion for nature.
